Nakuru County governor Kinuthia Mbugua is not among the worst performing governors as rated by a recent poll by Infotrack pollster despite carrying the tag of ‘unwanted governor’ after he was booed by a section of residents during a presidential trip to Nakuru.
Kinuthia, is however, not among the top performing governors as he was listed 27th with 58.6% approval.
This was 20.8 points behind top one performing governor which was taken by Machakos County boss Alfred Mutua with an approval rating of 79.4%.
Kinuthia’s scorecard was 10.8 point adrift of worst performing governor.
According to the ranking, Kiambu’s William Kabogo was the worst performing among the 47 bosses recording a 48.0% job approval.
