Garissa Governor Ali Roba today met with North Eastern Regional Coordinator Amb. Mohamud Ali Saleh.
The county Boss yesterday at his office in Mandera town noted that their discussion centered on the action points that emerged from the border securitization talks.
The talks the governor referred to was with the Gedo region Governor Mr. Mohamed Mohamud Adan earlier last month to tackle on border security at his office at the County headquarters.
The governor hoped that the Amb. Swaleh’s visit in relation to border talks will cement the relationship between the two international border.
“I hope that the Amb. Swaleh’s visit in relation to border talks will cement the newfound synergy between authorities on both sides of the international border,” he noted.
“Our discussion centred on the action points that emerged from the border securitization talks I had with the Gedo region Governor, Mr. Mohamed Mohamud Adan,” Stated Governor Ali Roba.
