Bomet County Governor Dr. Joyce Laboso on Sunday sent her condolences to the families of seven musicians who lost their lives on Saturday in a grisly road accident on Nakuru to Eldoret Road.
Seven local musicians traveling in a probox from Bomet perished in an accident along Salgaa stretch when they were going to perform in Timboroa.
Bomet County Governor Dr. Joyce Laboso on Sunday responded to the news by sending her condolences to mourning families of the departed souls.
Laboso said she received the news of the accident with shock and great dismay and prayed for the families and relatives.
“I have received the news of the death of seven musicians from Bomet County in an accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway last night with shock and great dismay. My thoughts and prayers this morning are with the families of the departed,” said Laboso through a tweet.
Nakuru-Eldoret highway has claimed lives of many people.
Recently 13 people lost their lives at Salgaa after the Matatu they were traveling in from Nairobi collided with another vehicle.
