This comes only moments after Court of Appeal's decision to endorse the nullification of his election during the August 8 polls last year.

Mr.  Abdi's victory was first nullified by High Court on January 12 by Justice Alfred Mabeya.

On Friday,  Mr. Abdi expressed his disappointment with the Court of Appeal's ruling maintaining he was validly elected.

"Take notice that the Appellant herein Hon. Mohamed Abdi Mohamud being dissatisfied with the judgment of Court of Appeal in Nairobi in Election Petition Appeal No. 2 of 2018 given on the 20th day of April 2018 intends to appeal to the Supreme Court of Kenya against the whole of the said judgment," his latest appeal notice reads in part.

His election was first declared null and void by High Court judge Alfred Mabeya after he found out that the latter did not have proper academic papers and that the election was not done according to the law.

Mr. Abdi later appealed High Court's decision.

All attention now turns to the Supreme Court as it sets its date for the hearing of the appeal.
