The deteriorating relationship between Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka and Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi is not ending soon.
The the two leaders have of recent been engaging in verbal attacks.
Barely a week after Mr Wamunyinyi accused the Mr Lusaka of not living to his expectations as the governor, Lusaka came out fighting defending his legacy and development record.
According to Lusaka, the legislator should keep off county affairs and instead concentrate in the development of his constituency.
Lusaka who is the county's Jubilee Party point man said instead of the MP concentrating in criticizing his administration, he should focus at serving his constituents.
"Wamunyinyi should not belittle me at all," he said.
"My development record speaks for itself. What has he done with the CDF money that he should be proud of if we may ask?"
News that Mr Lusaka would defend his seat on Jubilee Party ticket has not gone down well with a section of leaders in the county.
