Mutua addressing residents of Kisii town on Thursday stated that the constitution should be amended to create more posts to accommodate more people in government.

“We have good people who will make good leaders but they have been denied the opportunity to work in government. I don’t see any problem when Raila is pushing for the changes in the constitution to be made,” he said.

He faulted DP William Ruto for opposing the constitutional changes saying his plans will not succeed.

“This is not 2010 where Ruto made Raila and other leaders sweat. It is a simple test and I am urging Ruto to accept the changes to be made in the constitution for his own good because once he loses in 2022 he will still be accommodated into the government,” he noted.

He called on Kisii county residents to be firm and ignore leaders like Ruto who are opposing the constitutional amendments.

According to the MCC party leader, the creation of more posts in the constitution will ensure there is no chaos resulting from elections in this country.
