The governor of Machakos Alfred Mutua earlier today oversaw the start of the construction of a 20-km Kivandani-Masinga road that he hailed as revolutionary in Kenya.The construction method used was borrowed from countries such as the United States of America.''The first road in the sub-county of Masinga that is being done by county machinery, county staff... I am here to prove that I can do in less than 10 minutes what it takes other people 3-4 hours to do in Kenya.'' Governor Mutua said in Masinga.Governor Mutua has made infrastructural development a major part of his agenda. The road is expected to ease transport and facilitate trade.
