Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua held a meeting with comedian Eric Omondi who paid a courtesy call to his office.
The governor revealed and expressed satisfaction upon learning Omondi is now a Machakos resident.
"I welcome him to the place to be!"
Mutua said after the meeting on Tuesday.During the meeting, the two discussed more on Omondi's mentorship programmes with the youth across the country.
"We look forward to engaging him in nurturing young talent in Machakos through Machawood," said the governor.
The comedian came under sharp criticism after exposing his nakedness to the public a month ago. In a video clip on social media, Omondi was seen swimming naked in a river with children at unknown location and tried to hide his manhood using his hands.
A section of Kenyans who were angered by his action took to social media to criticise him.
Some accused him of exposing minors to nudity while others felt that his comedy had gone sour.
However, others defended him.
