Kenyan democracy allows everyone to express himself in accordance with the constitutional provisions. You are free to say what you feel but if you are a leader then guarding your tongue must be a priority.

What the President and opposition leader showed Kenyans at Ntimama's burial was shame as Musalia Mudavadi suggested.

The incident gave us a chance to air our opinions about a case that showed us a true picture of the type of leaders we have. The two must be condemned and Governor Alfred Mutua should have corrected the two to prove that he is different.

Was Mutua right to term Odinga's remarks anti-development and ignore President's sentiments? My opinion is that he made a mistake that the leaders he says Kenya needs today should never do.

The way he corrects Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka despite being the Kamba kingpin should be applied to all without fear or favor. President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister both blundered and the duo should be ridiculed objectively and impartially.

This is a stand that Governor Mutua should take if he has a dream of bringing significant political change in Machakos and Kenya at large. Mutua talks of Odinga's 40 years in politics and is quick to point out faults.

I will appreciate if he comes out and explains any positives from the many years he was the government spokesperson. Kenya needs someone who is ready to lose his or her seat for the sake of truth.

Struggling to be politically right is a game that has curtailed Kenya's political progress. While in Kericho Mutua said, "This is the time when we should be talking about development issues, not time [for] elected leaders to go on talking about who should be elected on what political party."

Mutua should have echoed Mudavadi's analysis of this silly political confrontation. “Any leader must exercise restraint. There was no need for the juvenile exchange at such a solemn occasion," said Mudavadi.
