They said this is in a bid for the assembly to vet and approve them towards forming the county's executive.

Speaking in Muthetheni on Sunday, Muthetheni MCA Jeremiah Mutisya said they are focused on delivering their promises to electorates.

Mutisya said the governor should get back to work to enable them achieve this.

"Time is running out yet we don't have ministers or chief officers like other counties, how can we get to work when the executive isn't complete," Mutisya said.

He criticized Mutua for "walking around" with ministers whose names were rejected at the assembly last year.

Another MCA, Munguti said the ministers presented to the assembly were unqualified and unskilled for the positions poised for them.

Munguti spoke in AIC Kalyambeu where he had attended a church service in company of Machakos woman representative Joyce Kamene among other MCAs.

In the same function Kamene asked all leaders to work together in accordance to the Komarock meeting's resolutions.

"Development can only be achieved by leaders who work together, fighting will get us nowhere," Kamene said.

She promised to work hand in hand with the county government of Machakos to ensure development reaches the residents in the grassroots.
