Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has urged Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to ditch the opposition.Mutua argued that Kalonzo has no place in the Raila Odinga-led National Super Alliance (NASA).Speaking at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Monday, Mutua said Kalonzo will remain in the political cold if he remains in the opposition coalition. The Governor said that the opposition has nothing to offer, adding that the former Vice President (VP) should make a bold decision and decamp from NASA."Kalonzo should stop clinging to people who thrive on violence, propaganda and bloodshed," said Mutua. The county boss said Kalonzo is a wise politician whom he respects despite their political differences."Kalonzo should be wise, quit NASA and even join our Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) Party to push our development agenda forward," he said.Mutua said that Kalonzo's 2022 presidential bid will remain a dream if he continues to stay in NASA.Mutua hit out at NASA, saying the coalition has no agenda for Kenyans apart from spewing political hatred.A section of Kamba politicians has been asking Kalonzo to ditch NASA.The politicians claim that Kalonzo is being used as a 'flower girl’ in the opposition. They claimed that Raila might fail to honour the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he signed with Kalonzo.
