Civil servants in Turkana county risk losing their jobs if they will not deliver.
County Governor Josephat Nanok said his administration will not tolerate lazy officers who derail development.
“Nanok's development promise to the people remain and this must be achieved through hard work by all civil servants. Lazy workers who can't meet their goals will be ejected,” said Nanok.
The governor during his campaigns pledged accelerated development in the county.
He said water shortages in the county should be addressed by all means possible.
The ODM governor said during his first term in office, Lodwar Water and Sanitation Company failed to supply water to residents on a regular basis.
"A bill that seeks to reform the water company was drafted and changes will be made on how Lowasco operates to ensure we satisfy our clients,” he said.
