Led by Eldas MP-elect Aden Keynan, the politicians said that the current governor has the potential to deliver but he needs time, adding that the expectations of the people of this county are too high.

“Let us give the governor and his deputy the space he needs to perform his duties,” Keynan said, as quoted by Star. 

He added. “The expectations are high, given the support you extended to him, but we will have to lower them to limit the pressure on the incoming administration.” 

His sentiments were backed by Wajir West MP-elect Ahmed Kolosh who cautioned against the victimization of employees from the county because they come from hostile areas.On her part, the governor pledged to serve all the residents regardless of their political affliations during his five-year term in office. 

“My administration will embrace everyone in hope of revitalisingubcounties and wards and ensuring they receive equal attention.
