Governor Charity Ngilu and Kitui South MP Rachel Nyamai have shelved their political differences and vowed to work together for development.
The political relationship between Ngilu and Nyamai has been frosty over the years.
The two leaders have not been seeing eye to eye and often engaged in political brawls.
Ngilu and Nyamai fell out when the Kitui South MP quit Ngilu's NARC party to join Jubilee.
Nyamai was first elected MP on NARC party before decamping to Jubilee.
She is among few Ukambani politicians who got re-elected on Jubilee Party ticket in last year's general election.
Nyamai has been accusing Ngilu of discrimination when it comes to development.
She has often claimed that Ngilu sidelined his constituency on the 'Ndengu Revolution' project.
On Tuesday, the two leaders agreed to work together.
In a meeting at Ngilu's office, Nyamai maintained that she fully supports Ngilu's development agenda.
"Kitui people should stop listening to false information and know that Ngilu and I are together," Nyamai said.
The MP alongside other Kitui leaders had met to discuss on the county's mineral resources.
