Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama says he will have more meetings with Deputy President William Ruto as long as it's about transformation of the local economy.
Barely a day after photo's of him with Ruto going viral, Nyagarama has told off his critics adding that working with all leaders will help transform the county.
"There is nothing wrong with meeting the DP. He is the country's top most leader and we shall have more meetings to discuss development.
"Those with an issue should spare me. The DP is development oriented and I wish we could have more meetings together," he added.
Jubilee leaders led by Walter Nyambati, who has since launched an appeal over Nyagarama's High Court victory, associated the meeting with the case in court.
According to him, the ODM governor could be seeking favours from the DP to have the clandestine case quashed.
