Governor John Nyagarama has dismissed speculations that he may have died following his hospitalisation in the US.
And in a statement from the US of Saturday, Nyagarama downplayed the claims and threatened to take legal actions against the perptrators.
"I am alive and kicking. I only came for a medical checkup. Those wishing me death are evil. It is sad to kill me before my actual death.
"We now have laws in place and if they cannot reform, I will have no option other than taking serious legal actions," he said.
For the better part of last week, leaders across the county send well wishing messages to Nyagarama, who handed over to his deputy Amos Nyaribo.
Sadly, Nyagarama's son, Ndemo Nyagarama is also admitted in Nairobi Hospital with sources indicating that he is on life support.
