Nyamira County governor John Nyagarama has threatened to sack lazy and corrupt workers within his administration.

Speaking on Tuesday in his office, the ODM governor said he will not compromise with service delivery.

“It is either you deliver or quit. I will not condone cases or corruption, not when am serving as governor," he said.

He faulted his rivals for spreading propaganda that he has failed to ensure there is regional balance in hiring of county staff. 

“In terms of employment in the county, we have hired people from all the 4 constituencies in Nyamira County," he said.

The Governor urged MCAs to focus on their oversight role and ensure county funds are used appropriately to develop each ward.
