Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has been accused by ODM supporters for allegedly sabotaging NASA leader Raila Odinga over adoption of People's Assembly Bill.

Despite confirming receiving a copy, Nyagarama is yet to convene a meeting with NASA MCAs even after promising to do so.

"The Bill has my blessings and I shall ensure it sails through. Time has come for us to move with the rest of the country," he said.

But even with NASA super majority in the assembly, MCAs are yet to debate the bill despite Majority Leader Duke Masira's assurence.

And angry NASA supporters took in ODM WhatsApp group to condemn the prolonged delay in passing of the bill.

"We have an assembly that is infiltrated with Jubilee sympathizers that is why they will never pass the bill," said Beavon Magare.

Jacob Abere said: "As ODM, we shall remain vigil and we hope the petition sails through so that we can deal with Jubilee sympathizers."

A source within the county government had intimidated that Nyagarama is keen to use his powers to frustrate the motion due to his pending election petition case.

In his planned series of rallies, Raila will only tour the neighboring Kisii County, which passed the bill recently.
