Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o on Saturday met his predecessor Jack Ranguma at a funeral in Muhoroni.
The two met during the burial of Mama Teresa Omolo Okal, mother to Omulo Okal who was one of Ranguma's campaigners during last year's gubernatorial contest.
Okal served as a chief officer in the former county government of Kisumu.
Mama Teresia will be remembered for her feisty side and the love that she showered her children, grandchildren and great grand children.
While addressing mourners at the burial ceremony, Nyong'o emphasised the need of forming project management committees to supervise works being done by contractors in the county.
The ceremony was also attended by Antonia Owili (CEC Roads and Public Works), Thomas Owiti Ondijo (CEC Health), Rosemary Obama (former Governor Ranguma's hotelier), Dr. Hezron Otieno Mac Ombewa, and MPs: Onyango Koyoo(Muhoroni), Jared Okelo(Nyando), Aduma Owuor(Nyakach), among others.
