The County Government of Kisumu seeks to move ahead with its infrastructural development agenda in spite of spirited resistance from resistance.Most residents are strongly opposed to the development as it will lead to the demolition of their structures.The governor of Kisumu Anyang' Nyong'o has pleaded with the residents, calling on them to allow his administration to make good on its agenda.''I am requesting you to support my administration to improve infrastructure. Those who are keen on sabotaging projects cannot be allowed to prevail,'' Prof. Nyong'o said yesterday when he addressed County Executives from the U.S. The Kisumu County Government has already commissioned roads and facilities to the tune of 400 million shillings, designed to revitalise the economic prospects of the county.
