Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong’ is mourning the death of his Water, Environment and Natural Resources, Chief Officer, Timon Mboga.

Mboga died Saturday night while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

“The late Mboga was an ardent and passionate believer in not only discharging his duties diligently but initiating and overseeing various development projects. He will be remembered for revamping the water sector that saw the launch of over 110 solar powered boreholes and purchase of water bowsers which led to the provision of clean and safe water to county residents,” said Ojaamong in a condolence message.

The ODM governor noted that the county had lost an astute and eloquent servant.

“On behalf of the county government, and on my behalf, I would like to convey our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of the late Mboga. I pray to God to give the family fortitude to bear the loss,” he added.

“May the almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace,'' said Ojaamong'.
