The officers were sworn into office after the assembly anonymously approved them last week.

Ongwae said his administration is focused offer residents quality service and no one will stop that.

“Laxity and corruption will not be tolerated. Serve the residents diligently with integrity for the sake of developing the county,” stated Ongwae.

According to Ongwae, Kisii residents need good roads, clean water, improved roads, improved health care, good education and better markets among other development projects which must be met through hard work.

“As a county, we have prioritized to offer better and quality leaders to residents. Now that you have been appointed to the various positions of chief officers, help the county to achieve the desired development to improve livelihoods,” he added. 

He challenged the officers to work closely with the executive and MCAs.

“Good work relations, respect is important among county employees because this will enable the operations in the county be easier,” he noted.
