Kisii County Governor James Ongwae’s development agenda initiative across Kisii County has received accolades from a section of leaders from the regions.
They lauded the governor for ensuring that the promises he gave to the residents are being worked on as the locals feel the fruits of devolution despite the opposition he is currently facing from his opponents.
Led by Bomachoge Borabu parliamentary aspirant Lameck Mokua the leaders said that they are ready to ensure that he is re-elected come 2017 so that he can complete his work and projects that he had initiated.
“He has done a lot in the few years that he has been in office and we would like him to be given another chance to finish his projects,” added Mokua.
Speaking at Endereti on Sunday during the finals tournament hosted by Lameck Mokua the leaders called upon those opposing the governor to give him one more chance so that he can be able to finish his work.
Ongwae is set to defend his seat come 2017 as more gubernatorial aspirants are keen to unseat him including Kisii county Senator Chris Obure.
