Unlike the disunity witnessed between senators and governors in other counties, Kisii Governor has pledged to keep the union between him and his collegue Senator Chris Obure stronger.
This is a bid to see Kisii County moves forward in terms of economic growth and other various life aspects in ensuring that the Kisii residents are well served.
Speaking to the press Saturday in Kisii Teaching and referral Hospital, in a group of Senators who were in an official tour of event tabbed 'The Fact Finding Mission' of level 5 and 6 hospitals, Ongwae said that he happy about the existing good working relationship between him and Mogere which healthy and it is impacting the economic growth.
"I want us to work closely as a team and deliver quality services to Kisii residents, we want to see our health services fund remain in the county so as to benefit those visiting our health facilities directly instead of leaving for the Central government to run them as they intend to," Ongwae said.
His remarks wad supported by Dr Wilfred Machage Senator for Migori who noted that the senate is committed to ensure the health service fund is retained in the county instead of being transferred to central government which he termed as a long and indirect process of delivering services to residents.
