The County boss also welcomed the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (EACC) officials to investigate him.

"I call upon EACC investigators to drop in anytime and carry their investigations whenever they feel like," he said.

Governor Ongwae dismissed words by his opponents that he was corrupt as mere corruption.

He said that his administration was committed to ending graft dealings in the region.

"We are working closely with my Deputy so that we fight and eradicate corruption in the country. We are here to protect the mandate the people of Kisii County gave us," he said.

The governor said that his administration will have to face the full law for misusing public funds.

He was speaking at his office when EACC Commissioner Rose Macharia paid him a courtesy visit.
