Mandera Governor Ali Roba today opened a one-day dialogue forum at Hill View Hotel in Mandera town.
The dialogue forum said the governor was a curtain raiser to the devolution conference expected to kick off between 23rd to 27th April.
The county dialogues are normally held in each county to get and listen to the views of citizens towards what they expect in the devolution conference.
The Governor noted that the past five years of devolution experienced difficulties and often informed with a variety of structural, administrative and policy challenges as well as political and legislative concerns, currently the devolved government has now taken off providing service to citizens.
The Governor stated that there has been notable achievements and phenomenal changes in all sectors.
Significant successes have been registered and milestones achieved in health care and roads infrastructure among other sectors.

The function was also graced by the speaker of the county assembly Mohamed Adan Khalif, Deputy Governor H.E Mohamed Arai and a host of MCAs led by the majority leader Abdi Hassan and minority leader Jimale Abdi Hassan.
