Ranguma said the county must move forward and develop more this year, adding that all the pledges he made to the county residents must be fulfilled.

He added that all sectors must working together and try to achieve the set goals, adding that every individual will be held accountable.

Speaking during the Annual County Prayer day event, Ranguma said food security and commercialization of agriculture still remain a top priority in the county.

He said it is only through agriculture that the thousands of people in the county will help uplift their livelihoods and grow financially.

The county chief added that he is doing all he can to ensure that the rice sector in the county is booming, and also that the sugar sector is reclaimed.

Ranguma pledged to walk from door to door, to ensure that all county sectors are running well and that service delivery is efficient.

“The time for sitting in the office is over, I want to be out there to ensure work is going on and we are delivering according to our pledges,” said Ranguma.
