The County government of Mandera has officially opened Dandu Community Life Center.

The facility was constructed through a Public Private Partnership arrangement between UNFPA, Philips and the Mandera County government.

"The CLC is a remote model hospital that is fully equipped to manage the health needs of the people of Dandu and the surrounding areas," Roba said.

He was accompanied by partners from Philips, Amref, MSD, Gina Din, good will Amb to UNFPA, CoG and the Ministry of Health officials among others.

They also opened the new fully equipped maternity wing of Dandu health center.

"I would like to thank all our partners that have made this project possible particularly Mr Siddharth Chatterjee, the current UN Resident Coordinator who passionately pursued this project to its completion," said the governor Wednesday.
