Roba claims that NASA’s refusal to concede defeat or move to court over poll dispute is a clear indication that they are not interested in ensuring peace in the country.

Roba in an interview with a local daily, said that NASA’s agenda is to cause tension and violence through their reckless remarks.

He said that last weekend protests in some parts of the country could have been avoided if NASA leader Raila Odinga had called for peace and calm.

“It is clear that NASA is an enemy of peace and wants to cause fear and anxiety in the country through reckless remarks,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

Governor Roba said that the country’s economic stability is at risk if NASA leaders continue holding the country at ransom through malicious claims.

The Jubilee governor appealed to Kenyans to ignore the opposition leaders and focus on building the country.

He said that the country is bigger than the opposition, adding that Jubilee government will work and deliver development for all Kenyans without discrimination.

The country has been experiencing a state of anxiety and tension after the opposition disputed the presidential results.

NASA leaders rejected the presidential result that declared President Uhuru Kenyatta winner of the August 8 polls.

NASA claims that the election was rigged in favour of Jubilee. The opposition will on Wednesday make a statement on its next course of action after it said that filing an election petition is not their plan.
