Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has rubbished NASA's threat to swear in Raila Odinga as president.Mvurya said the threat by the opposition leaders is out of order, adding that their scheme to prevent President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta's swearing-in will not work.Speaking to journalists in Kwale Town on Sunday, the Jubilee Governor said Kenyans elected Uhuru as their president and not Raila.He accused the opposition of living in denial saying they should accept that Raila lost in the August 8 presidential election and the October 26 repeat poll."Opposition politicians should stop creating anxiety in the country and accept the fact that Uhuru Kenyatta is the duly elected and legitimate president," said Mvurya.Mvurya accused NASA leaders of working hard to sabotage the country's economy for their own selfish gain.He appealed to Kenyans not to listen to the propaganda and political hate allegedly being perpetuated by opposition politicians.NASA politicians on Sunday threatened to swear in Raila in two weeks’ time if Uhuru will be sworn in office after winning the October 26 repeat poll.Uhuru was declared president-elect last week after garnering over 7 million votes in the October 26 repeat poll.He will be sworn in for a second term in office if no one petitions his win.The deadline for petitioning the October 26 repeat poll lapses on Monday (today) midnight.
