Photo/Nation.)Bomet governor Isaac Rutto was on Friday accused of corruption on twitter.Governor Rutto was a topic of discussion on the interwebs with a trending hashtag, #ArrestIsaacRutto on twitter.The governor  is accused of not accounting for the revenue collected for the financial year 2013, 2014 where the county government was able to collect Sh78,328,408 but only collected Sh20,973,983 for the financial year of 2013 and 2014. However, the governor can not account for a difference of Sh57,354,625. It is alleged that the county boss has been making foreign trips with his family and the county has been paying the costs.The NASA co-principal was also accused of authorizing expenditure in 2015 of over 81 Million for the car and mortgage schemes through Transnational Bank but none of the assets purchased appeared in the County Asset Register.His supporters have accused bloggers who have been paid by Jubilee government to taint the governor's name. Rutto is defending the Bomet governor seat on a Chama Cha Mashinani ticket in a hotly contestant against Jubilee’s Joyce Laboso.
