National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso has dismissed Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto’s claim that Jubilee has neglected the South Rift region and continually belittles its leaders.
Laboso, who is also Sotik MP, said Governor Ruto is not an option for the region accusing him of selfish agendas.
“It is easy for people to whine and complain that the Kipsigis have been neglected,” she said.
“But when you look at it, what option does Governor Ruto bring to the table, really? The people know that he and the rest are sensational leaders out to spoil for William Ruto,” she said.
Governor Ruto has consistently pushed the narrative that the Kipsigis has been sidelined by the Jubilee administration despite overwhelmingly voting for the ruling coalition in 2013.
