[Photo|Nasa coalition]Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party leader, outgoing Bomet County Governor Isaac Ruto, has not been seen in public, since August 8.His supporters have expressed worries, after the National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principal went silent, ever since he lost his seat to the outgoing National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Sotik MP Joyce Laboso.The hotly contested seat saw Laboso declared the winner, under the Jubilee Party ticket, after garnering 175,932 votes (67,20%) against Ruto's 85,863 votes (32,80%).Ruto had expressed optimism that he would retain his seat, and head the Devolution docket, when Nasa takes over.He was however dealt a major blow, after Nasa failed to clinch the presidency. Presidential candidate Raila Odinga lost to incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta, but he dismissed the results, saying he was shortchanged.Supporters of the CCM party leader, however want the vocal leader, to come out and speak to them, and declare the way forward.Ruto is yet to concede defeat or contest Laboso's win.
