Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto says August elections will be revenge to DP William Ruto whom he accuses of disrespecting other leaders.
The two political friends cum enemies had fallout after 2013 elections with Governor Rutto opting to form CCM party which he is using for reelection.
Speaking in Kericho on Thursday, Rutto accused the DP of undermining local leaders adding that he should blame himself for an impending political lose.
“This man Ruto is very disrespectful. We gave him a job and he completely turned against us. He is the reason why Rift Valley has shifted to seek real change,” he said.
“If you don’t value your people, expect a revenge which we have waged. I want to assure him that Rift Valley is now in NASA whether he likes it or not,” he added.
Having voted for Jubilee in 2013, both political divide are keen to reap from the vote rich region that has shown signs of swinging to either side.
