On Monday while at Sotik constituency, the Bomet governor also accused the Jubilee administration of failing to support devolution as required by the law.

“Jubilee government has made the lives of people difficult. I will ensure that they are locked out of South Rift. They think they know better than us,” he said.

He added: “They are not sending money for devolution hence making it difficult for us to construct roads, provide clean water and medicine in hospitals. These people deserve to be taken home.”

And on gubernatorial race, he vowed to beat his competitors adding that CCM party was widely popular in South Rift than Jubilee.

The outspoken governor has been at loggerheads with Mr. Ruto over what is viewed as battle for supremacy in Rift Valley region.
