Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto on Saturday reaffirmed NASA supporters that presidential aspirant Raila Odinga will win South Rift votes.
Opposition outfit NASA is keen to win in Rift Valley region despite being perceived as Jubilee Party stronghold.
And when installed as Kipsigis elder, Rutto said Rift Valley had shifted and that Kalenjin were not ready for another five years.
“These guys were given the job and have perfected on the art of looting and dividing Kenyans along tribal lines,” said Rutto adding that he will ensure Kalenjin community joins NASA.
The CCM leader added: I want to assure Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto that they should be ready for a humiliating defeat. We are tired with corruption and mismanagement of the country.”
Rift Valley is viewed as battle ground by a number of political pundits given the emergency of the rebellion against Jubilee led by Rutto.
In his quest to retain governorship, Rutto is facing stiff resistance from National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso.
