A photo of Ex-Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto has attracted criticism from a section of opposition supporters.
Having lost his Bomet seat to former Sotik MP Joyce Laboso, Rutto is yet to make a public appearance other than handing over ceremony at Bomet stadium.
Throughout the Supreme Court battle that ruled I favour of his coalition, Rutto is yet to join his fellow principals who spent most times in the court.
“This photo shows he has joined Jubilee and he has a right to do so,” says Mike Ochieng’ in NASA Whatsap Group in reference to the photo.
“I don’t care whether he went to State House but the bottom line is, we did not lose and court ruled so. I wish him well,” adds Simon Nyakundi.
Whether the photo was taken recently at a meeting in State House is a mystery since the flamboyant Governor is yet to make an official communication.
Political analyst Gideon Mamboleo says Rutto will only be politically relevant if he joins forces with Jubilee.
