Wajir county governor Mohamed Abdi threatened to sack new county executives if they fail to deliver.
Abdi said his administration will not condone poor performance from the executives and other county employees.
The county boss urged residents to support and work closely with the new cabinet to ensure good services failure to which the officers will be axed.
Abdi urged residents to monitor government officials and hold nonperformers accountable.
“Failing to deliver will fail our people. I urge residents to support the officials for the operations in the county to be smooth and successful", he said.
He said the 10 executives must work to develop the county to improve lives of the people.
"Service delivery will be paramount under my leadership. I will replace any official who will sleep on the job", he added.
He assured residents that his government will be inclusive.
Early, the governor promised to source markets for livestock products from the county to foreign countries.
Abdi was speaking during the swearing in of the cabinet on Thursday.
