[Narok governor Samuel Ole Tunai during a tourism stakeholders workshop at the Windsor hotel (Photo-The star)]Narok governor Samuel oleTunai has urged all elected leaders to keep aside their political different and work together for the benefit of resident who elected them on august 8 saying the only way to boost development in the county is to make sure they are united as leaders.Speaking during the official opening of Narok county assemble Governor Tunai said that he will work with all leaders to make sure the problems facing Narok resident are solved once and for all especially insecurity that has been facing Transmara resident for decades.
" I want to plead with my fellow elected leaders, if you have the interest of kenyans who elected you at heart, then you should work together for the common goal of bringing development near mwananchi." the governor added
He called on Transmara residents to be calm saying the insecurity within the area had left 8 people dead last week reiterating that the government is solving this land issue to make sure peace prevails in the county.Tunai also persuaded residents of the county to support president Uhuru Kenyatta on the 26 October repeat presidential polls saying Raila is not ready for election and if they are not ready for election jubilee supporters will come in large numbers to vote and later Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn as the president.He urged Narok residents not to engage in any protests, saying the only thing he wants in Narok is peace as leaders are able to deliver and bring development which will help them.
