Speaking in Kisii town, residents led by Cleophas Ontuko noted that some projects are not done according to the standards and challenged Ongwae to inspect them to know how the money set aside for such projects is used.

“Some of the projects done in our county are not of the recommended standard more so construction of the roads, yes we agree that most of the feeder roads have been constructed but they are not of good standard,” noted Cleophas Ontuko.

“We ask our governor to do an inspection of county projects and gauge the money used in such projects to show transparency in our county,” said Cyrus Maiko another resident.

Residents also challenged the governor to collect residents’ views over the development projects they want done before next election.
