Garissa Governor Ali Bunow Korane has cautioned Members of County Assembly (MCAs) against debating NASA leader Raila Odinga's people's assembly if it is brought to the assembly .Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Thursday,  the Jubilee governor said that NASA people's assembly is illegal and meant to cause division in the country.He  claimed  that NASA wants to frustrate President Uhuru Kenyatta's government through the people's assembly."I am appealing to MCA's to reject and throw-out the the people's motion in case it is brought here," he said.

The Governor said that Garissa will not tolerate Raila Odinga's people's assembly 'nonsense'.

The Jubilee governor hit out at Raila claiming that the former Prime Minister (PM) has evil plans for the country.On Wednesday, NASA suffered a major set back after Nairobi County assembly declined to debate the people's assembly motion.The MCA's said that they cannot debate a motion that is illegal and which has been temporarily stopped by the court.The opposition is pushing for the creation of people's assembly in bid for electroral reforms and possible fresh presidential election.The people's assembly is expected to swear-in Raila Odinga on December 12, 2017.On Wednesday,  Mombasa and Machakos  joined other counties that have adopted the people's assembly assembly motion.

Other counties that haved adopted the motion include; Vihiga, Kwale, Kilifi, Kakamega, Makueni, Bungoma , Migori and Siaya.

On Thursday Attorney General Githu Muigai termed NASA's people's assembly illegal.
