Yattani says that Kenyans have to be careful avoid endorsing leaders blindly.

According to the Marsabit Governor, some aspirants eyeing political aspirants running for political seats are not fit to vie and hold public office.

He said that the country will only register development if right and qualified leaders are endorsed in the August 8 general election.

“My advice to Kenyans is for them to be careful on who they intend to vote for on August 8,’’ he said.

Yattani said that the socio-economic problems facing the country are a result of rogue leaders being elected to public office.

The Marsabit governor said that Kenyans have the power in their hands to decide the destiny of the country by rejecting corrupt and tribal leaders.

The Jubilee governor at the same time warned residents against accepting politician’s handouts.

He said that politician’s handouts will not help address the issues facing the country.

Governor Yattani also appealed to residents to maintain peace and shun politicians perpetuating divisive politics.
