Speaking during the County Assemblies Forum held in Mombasa County which has entered its third day, MCAs accused their county bosses of behaving like 'little gods', who threaten anyone who question their arrogant ways of spending county cash.

While adressing the forum, Bungoma Senetar Moses Wetangula accused the county bosses of planning foreign trips at the expense of serving their electorates.

His sentiments were echoed by Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar who said that a lot of corrupt dealings were taking place at the county level.

Junda MCA Paul Onje, accused a section of governors of distancing themselves from other leaders in the county, and wanting to be treated like presidents.

"In fact if possible, governors should be banned from being called his excellency and flying county flags," said Onje.
