Three governors have called on Kenyans to reconcile and ensure peace after the repeat presidential poll.
Governors Francis Kimemia (Nyandarua), Lee Kinyanjui (Nakuru) and their Kiambu counterpart Fendinard Waititu said the concluded poll has left Kenyans deeply divided along ethnic lines.
They called on the church to lead in ensuring there is harmony among Kenyans of different ethnics.
Waititu thanked Kenyans for voting President Uhuru Kenyatta in the poll and asked the opposition to accept the results.
The governors spoke at Milangine village in Nyandarua County during the funeral service of the late Rev. Fr. Samwel Wachira, a brother to Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia, who perished in a grisly road accident along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway near Gilgil town.
