Kenya Council of Governors and other government leaders are converging in Kwale County for the Governors' Induction conference at Diani Reef Hotel.
The governors, representing the 47 counties of Kenya and their deputies, will discuss top development agendas in conjunction with national government stakeholders.
A numbers of governors arrived at the venue on Wednesday while few others were spotted making their way into the Arrival Registration Section in the Hotel compound earlier on Thursday.
The Chairman of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Arch Bishop Dr. Eliud Wabukala, arrived at the event on Thursday morning. He called for the council to strengthen the best practices of the previous council.
“We must continue to strengthen best practices from the first council of governors and consolidate achievements,” said Wabukhala as quoted by Council of Governors on twitter.
Ambassador Stephano Dejak of the European Union (EU) assured governors of conducive partnership from EU to help develop Kenya through devolution.
