[Photo/turkana.go.ke]Governors have appended their signature to a document that will give clinical officers much-needed recognition. The Kenya Clinical Officers Association is now the official outfit that will be engaged in representing clinical officers in negotiation with the governors.This deal comes just two months after the officers put an end to their strike after signing a return to work understanding with the governors and the Ministry of Health.''We keep hearing of understaffing yet out of the 20,000 trained officers, only 6000 are employed.''George Gibore, the KCOA secretary-general said after signing the agreement at the Council of Governors' offices in Westlands.
