CoG chairman Peter Munya said the decision was reached after a consensus meeting with relevant stakeholders due to undisclosed reasons.

Themed: "The Devolution Transformation" with a guiding theme of: "Devolution- Transforming Lives: Tell your Story!" the Conference will be held at the Mara in Narok County.

Munya who is also the Meru County governor, said the conference would be unique, for it will feature voices of 'wananchi', with each County facilitating at least 50 citizens to participate in the conference.

The 1st devolution conference was held in Kwale County in April 2014, the 2nd was held in Kisumu in April 2015 while the 3rd Devolution Conference was held in Meru County in April 2016.

The event brings together Devolution stakeholders in a bid to improve service delivery to the electorates through implementation of the resolutions reached at the conferences.
