Governors have been warned against sacking workers
who did not support them during the August 8 poll.
This is after anxiety gripped workers in different counties about their fate in the hands of the new governors.
Speaking on Thursday, government spokesperson Eric Kiraithe condemned governors who have lined up lists of people be sacked and replaced by new appointees.
"Let us not take campaign matters to our offices...the government will support changes as long as they are within the law," said Kiraithe.
He further noted that every employee has a right to support any candidate as long as it does not affect their work.
