CoG withdrew the case, Monday, after the parties entered a Recognition Agreement with the national government, ending the two-weeks strike, December 14.

Governors had filed the suit after nurses ignored a Court order declaring the strike illegal.

The strike which started on December 5, 2016, saw nurses demanding for a 20 per cent pay hike, as agreed in a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Through Knun secretary general Seth Panyako, nurses had warned that they would stop at nothing until their salaries are hiked.
