Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has blasted the Jubilee administration accusing it of being non-committal to fighting the rampant corruption in government.
Kalonzo says that Jubilee administration has been the 'architecture' of corruption, adding that the Uhuru led government has led Kenyans down.
Speaking during an interview on Kass FM on Wednesday, the former vice president said Kenyans have lost faith in Uhuru's government for failing to tame graft.
"Kenyans had much hope in Uhuru's government in regards to fighting corruption but with the way things are now, the government has totally failed," he said.
Kalonzo said the fight against graft needs new approaches which he said the government does not have.
"Uhuru has run out of ideas on how to tame graft in his government and what he is doing now is passing blame games," he said.
The Wiper leader warned that corruption will sink the country into deplorable poverty if not contained.
Kalonzo stated that Cord will spearhead the fight against graft when it assumes power in the next year's general elections.
Cord leader Raila Odinga has also bashed the Uhuru government accusing it of tolerating corruption.
In a statement on Wednesday Raila alleged that Uhuru is surrounded by corruption cartels who are siphoning taxpayers' money.
On Tuesday, during the governance and accountability summit at State House, Nairobi, Uhuru hit out at government agencies mandated to investigate and prosecute corruption cases accusing them of letting him down.
Uhuru said that he is not to blame for rampant corruption saying that independent offices mandated to fight the vice are the one's that have failed to deal with corruption.
The President asked the Police, the Ethics and Ant-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Director of Public Prosecutions to up expedite investigation and prosecution of corruption cases.
The President said that the government has given out the much-needed resources to the offices for them to spearhead the war on graft.
